The West End refers to the area between the City Centre Promenade and Clifton, including College Green, Park Street and Brandon Hill.
Things to See and Do
The Bristol Hippodrome hosts world-class musicals, opera theatre and dance, including the World Premiere of the Mary Poppins musical in 2004. It's an incredible building with a fascinating history - Cary Grant began his acting career here.
College Green provides a restful haven, surrounded by the Bristol Cathedral, The Council House and The Central Library. Bristol Ice Rink on Frogmore Street offers ice skating for all ages.
Park Street is full of eclectic shops, bars and cafes.
Step back in time to visit Georgian House Museum on Great George Street, the former home of one of Bristol's major merchants. St George's, is a leading concert venue, popular amongst some of the world's leading musicians. Andtake the time to climb Cabot Tower for one of the best views across the city.
The skyline is dominated by Wills Memorial Tower of the University of Bristol, situated on Park Row. The University is one of the UK's most popular and highly regarded educational institutions, attracting thousands of students to Bristol each year.
The City Museum and Art Gallery hosts touring and permanent collections. It's easy to lose yourself among the fascinating artifacts - and it's all free!

Where to Stay
