The Bristol Festival Community Group (Registered Charity 1124722) is proud to release the full line up for the Bristol Festival 2008.
The two day event will be held on September 20th and 21st 2008 at Waterfront Square, the Amphitheatre and various locations around the Bristol City Centre. With a huge range of talent from across the South West of England, the Bristol Festival has something for everyone.
The full line up consists of DJ's, Bands, Musicians, Performers, Dancers, Street Theatre, Short Films, Workshops and much, much more.
We are collaborating with many of the South West's best promoters, community groups, artists and performers to end the summer with a spectacular event on September the 20th and 21st.
This year's festival comes in TWO parts:
"Brizzolfest" is the main event location based in the Amphitheatre and Waterfront Square, both in the centre of Bristol. This is where the main festival buzz will be with stages, tents, workshops, art installations, crazy costumed walkabouts and a whole host of unexpected delights. 11am-10pm both sat and sun.

The famous Mr Wolfs Noodle Bar play host to some of the Southwest's brightest stars throughout
the two days featuring a mixture of ska, indie, hiphop, rock, world music, funk and jazz. The
familiar friendly vibe found in Mr Wolfs bar on St Stephens St on a grander scale, and you can
still enjoy some delicious noodles to keep you going!

THE PUB STAGE LINE UP (SAT)
The Pub is travelling collective creating English pub environments in different locations. They
specialise in the finer points of rural life - Cider making, chainsaw carving, gardening, carpentry,
metal work, and throwing a heavy party.... After having appeared at Bath Fringe, Shangrila at
Glastonbury and Recydrate the West, they come to Bristol festival to offer you the chance to
dance to some exciting south west sounds, drink fine quality local booze, or sit and take in the
best beer garden in Bristol.

The circus zone will host some of the most spectacular performers you are ever likely to
witness, including: hula hoop dancers, acrobats, contortionists, jugglers and more with special
performances from Circomedia students. There is also an invisible circus that will pop up in
various locations around the site, to surprise and entertain you with aerial acts, trapeze artists,
human pyramids, Chinese poles and amazing acrobatics! Full line up times will be available in

STREETLIFE STAGE (SAT AND SUN)
Parkour (Free Running) workshops will be taking place in Millennium Square, alongside
interactive media games and street dance classes. If you don't feel so active then you can
treat yourself to the red carpet treatment at a movie premiere, in CinecabaGoGo's converted
black taxi cab.
The Red Bull Sugga, pimped to the max with decks and screens, will feature top local DJs,
live MCs, beatboxers, break dancers, hip hop and street dancers, capoerira displays, and all
sorts of other street styles.

"Rave-on-Avon" is the club night programme and the ticket will gain you entry into 10 different night clubs on Saturday night so you can carry on until the early hours of the morning and experience the best of the regions electronic music scene from drum and bass and dubstep, to house and electro. These tickets are only available in conjunction with Brizzolfest tickets sold to over 18's.
