Bristol International Festival of Kites and Air Creations

Bristol International Kite Festival

Bristol’s popular International Festival of Kites & Air Creations will take Ashton Court by storm.

The Festival is one of the region’s most distinctive and colourful public events, attracting spectators and enthusiasts of all ages and kite flyers from around the world. As well as a fantastic kite extravaganza the event provides the UK’s only showcase for designers, operators and manufacturers of inflatables, play structures and air sculptures.

The Festival features spectacular flying displays, aerial battles, breathtaking choreographed routines and awesome power kites as well as colourful examples of kites, banners and inflatables of all shapes and sizes.

Also the Blue Peter presenters will be joining the Festival on Sunday 31st as part of their 50th Anniversary celebrations. They will be joining in the activities and trying out their flying skills in the main arena taking part in the exciting Japanese kite fighting battles.

Free admission, charge for car parking. Bristol Community Transport will also provide accessible transport for the Kite Festival.
