The Coach House, Backwell, Somerset
This self-catering accommodation is situated in the grounds of the owners' house with access to a large garden. There is table tennis, space to play and kick a ball and a basketball hoop. The garden and courtyard are enclosed by wall and gate, providing a safe enclosed area for children.
Across the road there is a park with children's play equipment and beyond a large recreation ground with plenty of space to play football, cricket or ride a bike. There is also a half pipe skateboard ramp and further play area. Within this area is the local tennis club and bowling green as well as Backwell United Football ground. Courts at the tennis club can be booked by non members. Close by in the village is a leisure centre providing facilities for swimming and squash.
There are several walks from the house including up into Backwell Woods and fields beyond and pleasant areas locally to cycle. For quiet evenings and other periods, the Coach House has numerous videos suitable for young children.
