Woodbarn Farm Cottages

Woodbarn Farm is 5 minutes' drive from the village of Chew Magna, which has high pavements, pretty cottages, large Georgian houses and a Norman church and Medieval church house. It has three pubs, Post Office, well equipped supermarket, delicatessen, gift interior design shops and two banks. Also a short drive away is a sports centre with fitness suite, tennis, badminton and squash. Chew Valley Lake is a 5 minute walk away with facilities for trout fishing, bird watching, walking or simply sitting with a cup of coffee in the sun.

We are centrally located for Bath, Bristol, Wells, Cheddar and Weston-Super-Mare, which are all approximately 20 minutes drive away. Exmoor, the Cotswolds and the Longleat Estate are just over an hours drive away.

Our barn conversion is divided into 3. Derry Cottage is on the ground floor and is suitable for a wheelchair user with assistance. Stable Cottage is also on the ground floor and is perfect for a romantic hideaway for couples! The Tallet is an upstairs apartment with lovely views. All are tastefully decorated and furnished and fully equipped. The farm is arable, so if you come in August you will see the combine harvester at work. We also have one cow, two friendly ponies and a family of cats. Nick and Judi live on-site and try to provide as much (or as little) information about local and further away attractions as they can according to different guests' requirements! From B3130, turn by Pelican pub into Tunbridge Road. Over bridge, past fire station, take 2nd right into Denny Lane. Farm is 0.5 mile on left.
