About
No.1 Harbourside is a proudly independent gem right in the bustling centre of Bristol.
With a warm and inviting atmosphere, the colourful and vibrant space offers a slice of Bristol life. Celebrating local is at the core of all they do. Farmers, brewers, distillers and artists, they aim to source as much as possible from within 60 miles of the venue, supporting new and established producers.
A cafe by day, and a restaurant, bar, live music venue by night, No.1 Harbourside is an excellent place to people-watch over freshly ground coffee, Bristol beers on sunny days or cosy winter get-togethers. All under one roof, complete with twinkly lights!
The weekend brunch menu is something to be marvelled - with fresh hollandaise, locally sourced sausages and bacon, and eggs done the way you like them! In the evenings Monday to Saturday they go all out with their tempting selection of towering burgers, with flavour inspiration from around the world. Pick your favourite, and build it your way. Be it 28-day dry-aged beef, or delicious house-marinated tempeh there are plenty of options for everyone. All sauces, mayos, and dips are made fresh in-house.
A varied and nutritious kids menu is available during food service times and includes vegan and veggie options, alongside high-welfare meat and responsibly sourced fish dishes.
Their meat is always high-welfare and farmed in the South West, their fish is responsibly sourced from local rivers, estuaries and seas and their veg is freshly picked. Knowing their suppliers by first name, they have regular communication to ensure they're up to date on availability, seasonality and farming practice.
The bar serves a strong range of local craft ales, lagers and ciders from Bristol’s favourite suppliers is ever-changing. An exclusively European wine-list, and some No.1 takes on classic cocktails make up the drinks offering.
Being so close to Bristol’s Hippodrome theatre they offer pre and post-theatre menu, meaning double the fun on a night out.
Their sourcing policy means that the menu changes on a seasonal basis at least three times across the year. A proud member of the Sustainable Restaurant Association No.1 Harbourside aims to deliver ethics and sustainability across the business from the treatment of staff, use of renewable energy sources, responsible waste management, sourcing locally where possible, ensuring all menus change with the seasons and to be a pillar of the local community.
