About
St Andrew’s Park is a classic Victorian neighbourhood park with a lot of green space and children’s play area. The playground here is dog- free and has a sand pit, swings for toddlers, climbing frames, a slide, balancing rails and more.
Additionally there is a paddling pool for children, which is opened from May Bank Holiday till 5 September. Other facilities on site are toilets, a mobile café and picnic tables. The park has good access for wheelchairs and buggies because of the many paths throughout.
There is no parking on site, but street parking is available. A bus ride from the city centre takes about 20-25 minutes, by car approximately 10 minutes or it is about a 30 minute walk from the promenade.
St Andrew’s Park is open at all times and is free to enter.
